Northstar has hit it out of the park with the Kitchen Display System! Our Executive Chef Todd was not behind this to start with but he has seen so much good come out of this system to help Cherokee – it is amazing. Systems were changed, errors have been caught and are now minimized and the kitchen is quiet again. Thank you for building this. Kudos!!!

Northstar linked the tee times and Point of Sale systems seamlessly. Prior to Northstar, we operated two separate software programs for tee time reservations and point-of-sale. This proved to be a challenge as our reports were often skewed. Waialae Country Club is a bit complicated in that our membership structure consists of 27 classes and we have 50+ rules in relation to tee times.
Catching up with the 21st Century where technology does the clerical work so we can focus on the reason we exist: the Member Experience. Northstar is doing the costly, manual work at twice the speed without sacrificing accuracy.
The Northstar system has certainly created efficiencies across multiple systems and reduced the admin payroll by 25%. I personally rely and love the reporting functions and the variation and capabilities of the reports at my fingertips. With the ClubNow App, members can book rounds, top up accounts, change contact details, and check handicap all through the App. The fully integrated EFPOS/POS integration has fast tracked transactions for members and enabled us to go cashless. End of day reconciling is now a two second process with no cash counting or balancing required. Counting cash and reconciling alone accounted for around fifteen hours of payroll per week across the business.
Our experience with Northstar has been outstanding. The company has been very responsive and innovative. The tee time app has been very well received by our members. It is easy to use and has made some significant enhancements to get the members on the course at the times they want and the people they want to play with. Great team to work with and we are very pleased with the product.
Grab ‘N Go has been a hit among our members. Within 48 hours of coming up with the need for takeout during COVID, Northstar had the system in place and ready to go. Last Friday, we had 38 orders and over 100 meals for our members. Thank you for getting this set up and allowing us to service the members.
Grab ‘N Go has been great for us, so thankful for that for sure. That and having a dedicated To-Go area with curbside has allowed us to stay open and do pretty well.
NS Gate Access solution has changed our 10,000 + privacy operations in a significant way. Our collaboration has resulted in enhancing both our residents and privacy guard experiences! Please share my renewed appreciation with the entire NS team. Well Done!
