Kitchen Display System (KDS) - Saves Paper, and Serves as an Invaluable Internal Benchmarking Tool

Did you know that with the Northstar KDS your club can not only save paper by eliminating kitchen printers, but can also track service levels and pace of service within the F&B Operations?

Immediately, visual alerts warn when service may be affected - color codes of yellow and red will highlight table(s) that may be approaching the established benchmark for the service goal (e.g., number of minutes from time order is taken to when food is delivered). Managers can see this from their device - without having to go into the kitchen, to see if they're "in the weeds".

An invaluable tool for Benchmarking over weeks or days. For instance, in "The Grill" a club may know that the Members expect their food within 14 minutes of ordering. If Managers see that service has trended in the wrong direction over the past week or so (for example), then they know that there is either a Floor Staff training issue, or perhaps a production issue in the kitchen. Correct the situation, before it is obvious to the Members.

In addition, Managers can see graphically on their device what the "Load Balance" is between number of covers, Kitchen Staff, and Floor Staff when used in conjunction with Northstar Timekeeping Module.
